On New Adventures // Personal

I've always been a person who loved adventures. Little adventures, big adventures, you name it, I was down for it.

But no matter where I adventured, I always came back to my home in Phoenix, where I was safe and secure and had a "failsafe" in the form of family and nearby friends.

And now, that's not going to be possible. Because I'm moving.

Moving to Northern California, to be exact. Moving to a town that's little more than a pitstop on Interstate 5. Why? I have no idea. All I know is that tiny town is where God has clearly and unmistakably asked me to be for a while. It's new, scary, exciting, and frankly, it's something I had no idea was coming so early in my adult years.

Yes, I'll be working part-time, hopefully spending my extra time as a photographer. And when I'm not working, I'll be spending my time at Bethel Church

It's an exciting time, an exciting adventure, and hopefully, the start to an exciting, God-dependent life.

If you want to keep up with my daily life as I move and start this new phase, feel free to follow me on Instagram (@abireeves). Also, please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. Our God is a big God, and I have confidence in that, but there is nothing like having people surround you with love.

I face the impossible unknown
I see you standing close
A friend, a hope, a savior
Beyond what has ever been known

And as I cry out for resolve
You calm the sea and still the storm
You steady my path and straighten my heart
With promises of greater things to come
